The destination of today's hike was mount Il Sasso - Peilstein (2540 m), see also Sit down and enjoy the quiet. The weather was beautiful and the temperature was optimal. After 50 minutes walk I reached the alpine hut Riemerbergl Alm (2050 m) and here I stopped. I was without snowshoes, I tried two different paths to go up, but my legs sank 1 metre in the snow a few steps further. Left in the background mount Orecchia di Lepre - Hasenohr (3257 m).
